Open vacancies at Al Ma'wa

Al Ma'wa for Nature and Wildlife announced open positions for animal keepers and security staff.

Animal keepers responsibilities include daily feeding and food preparation, safety inspections of animal facilities, transferring animals between enclosures, assisting with facility maintenance and cleaning, managing food storage, preparing enclosures for new animals, and guiding visitor tours.

Security staff duties encompass site guarding, conducting inspection tours of enclosures and facilities, writing daily reports, assisting with maintenance work, controlling vehicle and visitor movement, and receiving visitors.

Required qualifications for both positions include physical ability to walk rocky terrain in various weather conditions, fluency in English and Arabic, capability to write reports and use computers, comfort around large animals, ability to drive manual vehicles, willingness to work extended hours or overnight shifts, and good visitor communication skills. Applicants must reside in Jerash.
